Amy toured internationally with a small professional ballet company: Ballet Excelsior of Houston. After that she majored in Musical Theatre at SHSU.
She’s recently performed with Main Street Theater as Mrs. Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank, and performed as a super in Rigoletto with Houston Grand Opera. Other favorite roles include Adult Winnie in Tuck Everlasting (artFACTORY), Erma in Anything Goes, and The Queen of England: Jane Seymour at The Texas Renaissance Festival. She also recently directed and choreographed Come Alive with Haven Arts Theatre at Prohibition Theatre.
Amy has choreographed all over the Houston area, including the After Dark Dancers at TRF After Dark. She is the resident choreographer at the The Texas Renaissance Festival. She most recently directed/choreographed MAMMA MIA! with The Players Theatre Company.
Teaching has always been a part of Amy’s professional career. She is a teaching artist with TUTS and has also taught at Covenant Christian School, Christian Youth Theatre, Houston Family Arts Center, Kingwood High School and others.
